The details:

• Weekend classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Each with a morning and afternoon session:

  • Saturdays 10:00am - 12:00pm

  • Saturdays 2:00pm - 4:00pm

  • Sundays 10:00am - 12:00pm

  • Sundays 2:00pm - 4:00pm

• Weekend classes run for 2 hours and are open to young makers ages 6-14.

• Weekend classes are small format (8 makers max).

• Projects vary in duration, ranging from 1-3 weeks.

• All necessary supplies and materials are included.

• Cooking projects will often be part of classes. Be sure to advise of any food allergies or dietary restrictions so accommodation can be made.   

• Please bring a snack and beverage each day; and have a sweatshirt or jacket for outdoor activities.

• Session A

  • 5 weeks of classes - choose from a morning or afternoon class on Saturday or Sunday

  • Session A dates: 1/11/2025 – 2/9/2025

  • 5 weeks of classes - choose from a morning or afternoon class on Saturday or Sunday

  • Session B dates: 3/1/2025 – 3/30/2025

• Session C

  • 5 weeks of classes - choose from a morning or afternoon class on Saturday or Sunday

  • Session C dates: 4/5/2025 – 5/11/2025; No classes on Saturday, 4/19/25, or Sunday, 4/20/25

Fall 2025 Weekend Class dates and fees: TBA

Enrollment, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy:

• Enrollment covers 1 class per week for the session. We do not offer pay-as-you-go or pay-per-project.

• We do not provide refunds for missed classes. However, we will do our best to provide a make-up class opportunity. Missed classes are forfeited at the end of each session. • If you enroll mid-session, the tuition fee will be pro-rated. 

• To initiate cancellation of your weekend class enrollment, please email deneese@alamedamakering.com at least 14 days before the intended cancellation date. A 5% cancellation fee will be applied and deducted (to cover the processing costs).
