WEEKEND WORKSHOPS
Our Weekend Workshops are the perfect way to try Makering—and a fun way for returning makers to keep on Makering! Join us on the second Saturday of each month for three hours of hands-on learning and fun. With a new theme each month, come to one or come to them all!
Each workshop flows between our Maker’s Table and Maker’s Kitchen with an ambitious, age-appropriate craft project and cooking project inspired by the month’s theme. We’ll also head outside to our Maker’s Garden for fresh air and a trampoline break! Projects incorporate the safe use of various tools, upcycled materials, creative techniques, and real-life skills. Every young maker leaves with something they’ve made, learned, and feel proud of!
The details:
Weekend Workshops are held on the second Saturday of each month from 10:00am–1:00pm.
Each 3-hour workshop includes a hands-on craft project and cooking project inspired by the month’s theme.
Workshops are open to young makers in 2nd–8th grades and are intentionally small, with a maximum of 6 makers.
All necessary supplies and materials are included.
Cooking projects are part of each workshop. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions so accommodations can be made.
Please bring a snack and water bottle, and have a sweatshirt or jacket for outdoor activities.

Enrollment, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy:
Enrollment is for the specific camp or workshop purchased.
We do not provide refunds for missed camp days or workshops.
To initiate cancellation of your camp or workshop enrollment, please email deneese@alamedamakering.com at least 14 days before the start date. Tuition will be refunded, less a 5% cancellation fee (to cover processing costs). Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are non-refundable.
