PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT
Kids get their night. Grown-ups get theirs! Join us for a 3-hour Saturday night makering workshop filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and the Joy of Makering — while grown-ups enjoy a night out!
Each workshop flows between our Maker’s Table and Maker’s Kitchen with an ambitious, age-appropriate craft project and cooking project inspired by the month’s theme. We'll enjoy a pizza and salad dinner together, and when the weather allows, head outside for fresh air and a trampoline break. Projects incorporate the safe use of various tools, upcycled materials, creative techniques, and real-life skills. Every young maker leaves with something they’ve made, something they’ve learned, and something they feel proud of!
The details:
Parents’ Night Out is held on the second Saturday of each month from 5:00pm–8:00pm.
Each 3-hour workshop includes a hands-on craft project and a cooking project inspired by the month’s theme.
A pizza and salad dinner is included. Families are welcome to send an alternative meal if needed.
As always at Alameda Makering, our time together is screen-free.
Workshops are open to young makers in 2nd–8th grades and are intentionally small, with a maximum of 6 makers.
All necessary supplies and materials are included.
For cooking projects, please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions that may affect participation so that accommodations can be made.
Please bring a water bottle and a sweatshirt or jacket for outdoor activities.

Enrollment, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy:
Enrollment is for the specific camp or workshop purchased.
We do not provide refunds for missed camp days or workshops.
To initiate cancellation of your camp or workshop enrollment, please email deneese@alamedamakering.com at least 14 days before the start date. Tuition will be refunded, less a 5% cancellation fee (to cover processing costs). Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are non-refundable.
